My most recent project is a website for Backstrom Builders Center in Bend, Oregon. The site is an easy to navigate series of pages that reflect Backstrom’s helpful staff and excellent products.
Through a bright yet soft color scheme that reflects both the business’s logo and their product, potential customers can learn about the history of the locally owned and operated business and are pointed to many ways to contact the builders center.
The site is designed to be a pleasant experience that encourages customers to go to the lumber yard and hardware store and check it out in person.
I have taken several classes in art and design to get a good grasp on the subject. Please view
samples of my work in the design field. I am constantly looking at what is out there in design, so my work can reflect a current style with a unique twist.
From an early age I have been interested in a career in web design and development. Take a look at
my projects thus far. I learn something new with each one, and am eager to enhance my understanding in future work.
Flash is an amazing and versatile tool for the web. I have scratched the surface of its power and plan to improve my knowledge of the scripting side of flash in the near future. Check out what I’ve
come up with so far. It’s a fun and engaging medium.
There is so much involved in producing a worthwhile piece of video. From scripting, editing, and exporting the finished product to all the different forms of media, a video can be a valuable thing to produce. Using Final Cut Pro I have produced and edited
some video that I’d love to show you.
Director is a software that allows one to create an interactive experience via a kiosk or game. This is some of the first software that PCC’s multimedia program introduced me to. The
project I created with it inspired me to find out what other amazing things I can learn through the program.
